Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, erasure and rectification
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defence or establishment of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed against each other. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in connection with the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example by spam emails.
4. Data collection on our website
Server log files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information comprises:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Notice window on the home page
So that the notice window about new products on the home page appears automatically only once per visit, your browser stores a note in the so-called session storage for the duration of the session. This note contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us and is automatically deleted when the browser window is closed. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
Enquiries by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us.
The data you send to us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Transfer of data upon conclusion of a contract for dealers and shipping of goods
We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary in the context of processing the contract, for example to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or to the credit institution commissioned with payment processing. No further transfer of data takes place, or only if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Links to external websites
Our website contains links to websites of other providers, e.g. for route planning with Google Maps or to online catalogues of our manufacturers. This content is only loaded when you click on the respective link. From that point on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies; we have no influence on its data processing.
5. Job applications
If you send us an application, we process the personal data you provide in it in order to handle your application and to contact you. The personal data concerning you will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless we are legally obliged to do so, you have requested this or the transfer of data is necessary for the initiation and performance of a contractual relationship with you or of the application procedure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a), (b) GDPR, Art. 88(1) GDPR and Section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
We delete applications no later than three months after the conclusion of the application procedure. Should the data be required for legal proceedings after the conclusion of the application procedure, data processing may take place on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular for the pursuit of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest then consists in the assertion of or defence against claims.
If your application is successful, we will continue to process the personal data concerning you for the purposes of the employment relationship.
If you have expressly given your consent, you can withdraw your declaration of consent at any time with effect for the future, in which case we will delete your data.
Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we process the associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary for deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG (new version) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general initiation of a contract) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Within our company, your personal data will only be passed on to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you have submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG (new version) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
6. Storage period
Stored server log files and IP addresses are deleted after seven days at the latest.
We process the data from your enquiries via email until your enquiry has been fully processed and dealt with. The information is then deleted. Please note, however, that due to a legal transaction with you, commercial and tax law retention obligations of at least six (Section 257 HGB, German Commercial Code) or ten (Section 147 AO, German Fiscal Code) years may apply to certain data, which may also apply to the content of contact enquiries and emails.
If you apply, for example, via email, we will delete the personal data and applications you have submitted three months after the conclusion of the application procedure. If your application is successful, we will continue to process your personal data for the purposes of the employment relationship. If you have expressly given your consent, you can withdraw your declaration of consent at any time with effect for the future, in which case we will delete your data.
Otherwise, a check is carried out annually to determine whether data can be deleted. This is the case if the purpose of the processing and the conditions of the legal basis for the processing no longer apply and there is no legal obligation to retain the data.
